This Privacy Policy explains how this community race series site collects, uses, and stores data obtained through the ROUVY API and related services.
Overview
This site is an independent community project designed to aggregate race results and publish standings for indoor cycling events.
This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by ROUVY.
Data Collected
Personal data collected by this site is limited to:
- ROUVY username
- Weight
- FTP
- Age Group (*** NOT date of birth or age ***)
- Nationality
The site may also collect, process and display:
- Race event identifiers and metadata
- Event rankings and finish times
- Activity summary metrics
- Performance aggregates such as power, cadence, heart rate, speed, or elevation statistics
The site does not collect or store rider passwords or ROUVY login credentials.
Source of Data
Data displayed on this site is retrieved through authorised access to the ROUVY API using OAuth2 authentication.
How Data Is Used
Data is used solely for purposes related to operation of the race series, including:
- Computing standings and rankings
- Displaying event results
- Generating statistics and summaries
- Maintaining historical race records
Data Retention
Race result and standings data may be retained for historical and statistical purposes related to the operation of the race series.
Raw API responses may also be temporarily stored for auditing, recalculation, troubleshooting, or validation purposes.
Data Sharing
Data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Public standings and event results may be displayed openly on the site as part of normal race series operation.
Data Deletion Requests
Participants may withdraw from Harry's Race Series and request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting the project administrator using the details provided below.
On receipt of a valid request, the participant's registration will be cancelled and their personal data will be deleted from Harry's Race Series records, subject to any legal or administrative requirements.
Historical race results and standings may be retained where necessary to preserve the integrity of competition records.
Participants may also revoke Harry's Race Series access to their ROUVY account through their ROUVY account settings. Revoking access will prevent future activity imports but does not automatically delete data already stored by Harry's Race Series.
Cookies and Analytics
This site may use basic web hosting logs or analytics tools to understand site usage and improve reliability. No advertising trackers are intentionally used.
Security
Reasonable efforts are made to protect API credentials and stored data from unauthorised access.
However, no internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure.
